Creating Your First Tournament Is Fast and Easy
Whether you're organizing a quick office ping-pong competition or a full weekend league, creating a tournament in Score7 takes less than a minute—and you don’t even need to sign up to try it.
Here’s how to do it:
Step-by-Step: Create a Tournament

Click “Create Tournament” You’ll find this button:
- On the homepage
- In the top navigation bar
- Or from the “Your Tournaments” page (if signed in)

Choose your settings You’ll be asked to select:
- Sport (e.g., Football, Badminton — or type your own custom name)
- Number of participants (this can be edited later)
- Format
- Single stage: Knockout, Double Elimination, or Round-Robin League
- Multi stage: Round-Robin Groups ➝ Knockout or Double Elimination

Click “Create Tournament” That’s it. You’ll be instantly taken to your tournament dashboard with default settings already in place.
No login required: You can explore and fully customize your tournament anonymously. If you want to save it for later or keep access across devices, just sign in.
What Happens Next?
Once your tournament is created:
- You can start adding participants, editing settings, or entering match results right away.
- The tournament is fully editable with smart defaults based on the format you chose.
- You’ll see a side menu with all the key sections: Overview, Participants, Matches, Standings (if applicable), and more.
Important: Saving Your Tournament
- If you create a tournament without signing in, it will be stored temporarily for 24 hours.
- To save your tournament permanently, sign in or create a free account.
- Signing in after creation will link the tournament to your account so you don’t lose any progress.
Tip: One Free Tournament Per Month
Score7 allows one free tournament per calendar month without requiring a paid plan. Premium users can create unlimited tournaments and unlock advanced features like auto-scheduling and CSV import.
