Can I Copy Participants from Another Tournament?
Reuse Participants from a Previous Tournament
If you've already run a tournament and want to set up a similar one—without retyping all the names—Score7 makes it easy to copy participants (and their logos) from one tournament to another.
This is a fast way to set up recurring events like weekend leagues, school competitions, or seasonal challenges.
How to Import from Another Tournament
- Create or open your new tournament
- Go to the Participants or Teams section
- Click Import from Tournament
- Select the source tournament from your list
- Choose:
- Add to append them to your current list
- Replace to overwrite the existing participants
- Click Confirm
Logos, avatars, and team/player names will be copied as they were in the source tournament.
What Gets Copied?
- Participant names (teams or individuals)
- Team logos
- Player names (if teams are enabled)
- Player avatars (if present)
Match data, results, and statistics are not transferred—only the participant structure.
When to Use This
- Running a new season with the same teams
- Setting up pools from past events
- Copying default rosters to multiple tournament formats
