How to Invite Admins or Editors to Your Tournament
Inviting Admins and Editors in Score7
Running a tournament is easier with help. In Score7, you can invite other users to assist by assigning them as admins or editors. This lets you delegate tasks while keeping control of access levels.
Only signed-in users can be invited, and you can manage permissions at any time.
Accessing the Permissions Panel
- Open your tournament
- Click Access in the left-hand menu (only visible to the tournament owner)
- Use the Manage Access section to invite users and set their roles
Roles Explained
Admin
- Full control over the tournament
- Can edit settings, matches, participants, and access
- Can reschedule, delete, or reset matches
- Can invite or remove other admins or editors
Editor
- Limited permissions
- Can only edit match results and player statistics
- Cannot modify tournament structure, participants, or settings
Use editor access when you want someone to help enter results, but not make format or scheduling changes.
How to Invite a User
- From the Access page, enter the user’s Score7 email address
- Select the role: Admin or Editor
- Click Add
They’ll now see the tournament under their account and can access it based on the assigned role.
Transferring Ownership
Want to fully hand off the tournament?
- Use the Transfer Ownership option at the top of the Access page
- Enter the email of the new owner
- Once confirmed, you will no longer be the owner (but can remain as admin)
Security Notes
- Only the owner can transfer ownership or remove other admins
- You can update or revoke permissions at any time
- All changes take effect immediately
