How to Customize Your Tournament URL
Customizing Your Tournament Link
By default, Score7 generates a public link for each tournament using a unique ID. To make your link easier to share or remember, you can set a custom URL from the tournament settings.
This is useful for branding, print materials, QR codes, or public visibility.
How to Set a Custom URL
- Open your tournament
- Go to the Advanced section in the left-hand menu
- Scroll to the Custom URL field
- Enter your preferred path (e.g.,
my-summer-league
) - Save your changes
Your tournament will now be accessible at:
https://www.score7.io/tournaments/my-summer-league
Guidelines for Custom URLs
- Use letters, numbers, and hyphens only
- Avoid spaces or special characters
- Must be unique across Score7 (you’ll see an error if the URL is already taken)
- You can edit the URL anytime unless it's already been shared widely
When to Use a Custom URL
- School or club tournaments with recurring names
- Events promoted through flyers or social posts
- Esports events where brackets are shared on stream
- Any tournament you want to brand and promote easily
Can I Set Custom URLs for Past Tournaments?
Yes—as long as the URL is still available, you can go back and set one for any tournament you own.
Tips for QR Codes and Sharing
Once your custom URL is set:
- Use the Share button to copy the link
- Generate a QR code for easy printing or screen display
- Embed it directly in your website or event landing page
