Why Does My Tournament Disappear After 24 Hours?
Tournament Disappeared After 24 Hours?
If your tournament is no longer visible after a day, it's likely because it was created without signing in. Score7 allows anonymous tournament creation—but these are only saved temporarily.
How Temporary Tournaments Work
When you create a tournament without signing in, Score7 saves it in your browser for convenience.
- It’s stored locally and accessible only from the same device and browser
- It is available for up to 24 hours
- After that, it is automatically deleted
This allows you to test or explore without committing—but is not intended for permanent use.
How to Prevent Tournament Expiry
To keep your tournament beyond 24 hours:
- Create your tournament
- Sign in or create an account at any time before the 24-hour limit
- The tournament will be linked to your account and saved permanently
Once saved, you can access it from any device and manage it like all your other tournaments.
Warning Signs You're in Anonymous Mode
- You didn’t log in before creating the tournament
- You don’t see your name or email in the top-right menu
- The site shows a prompt encouraging you to sign in to save your progress
If any of these apply, sign in to prevent data loss.
Recovering Expired Tournaments
Unfortunately, expired anonymous tournaments cannot be recovered once deleted. There is no backup or restore option unless the tournament was saved to an account.
Best Practice
- Always sign in before or immediately after creating a real tournament
- Anonymous mode is best for quick demos, not long-term events
- Premium users can create and save unlimited tournaments with full access
