How to View Matches by Day, Location, Referee, or Table

Match view modes

Score7 offers multiple ways to view your match list. By default, matches are organized by round structure (groups → legs → rounds for round-robin; brackets → rounds for knockout). But you can switch to a different view that better fits how you're running your event.

Available view modes

ViewWhat it shows
Default (by round)Matches grouped by their round structure — the standard bracket or league view
By ParticipantAll matches for a specific participant, useful for checking one team's schedule
By DayMatches grouped by date — useful for multi-day events
By LocationMatches grouped by venue — useful when managing multiple courts or fields
By RefereeMatches grouped by assigned referee — useful for referee coordination
TableA flat list of all matches without grouping — good for printing or quick scanning

How to switch view modes

  1. Go to the Matches section of your tournament
  2. Look for the view mode selector (dropdown or tabs)
  3. Select the view you want

Your selection is saved locally in your browser — it persists when you return to the same tournament.

Filtering by match status

Alongside the view modes, a status filter lets you narrow the list to one of three options:

FilterWhat it shows
AllEvery match in the stage
UpcomingOnly matches that don't have a result yet
PlayedOnly matches with a result recorded

The status filter works together with whatever view mode you're in — so you can, for example, show just the Upcoming matches on one court, or just the Played matches for a single participant. Your choice is remembered for each stage, so it's still applied when you come back.

Match order: inside each group, matches are listed in chronological order — earliest scheduled first. In By Location, that means each court's matches read top to bottom in the order they'll be played; matches without a set time appear at the end.

When to use each view

  • Organizing a weekend tournament? Use By Day to see Saturday's matches separate from Sunday's
  • Running matches across multiple fields? Use By Location to see which matches happen on which court
  • Coordinating referees? Use By Referee to share each referee's assignment list
  • A participant asks "when do I play next?" Use By Participant to see their full schedule
  • Need a simple printable list? Use Table for a clean, flat match list

Requirements

View modes work best when match details are filled in:

Matches without dates, locations, or referees assigned won't appear in the respective grouped views.
