How to Add, Remove, or Edit Participants
Managing Participants in Your Tournament
Once your tournament is created, the next step is to add participants—either individuals or teams—depending on the sport or structure you’ve chosen. Score7 makes it easy to add, remove, or update them at any time.
This guide walks through all your options.
Accessing the Participants Page
- Go to your tournament.
- Open the Participants section from the left-hand menu. (If teams are enabled, this will be labeled Teams instead.)
Add or Remove Participants
- Click Update Participants (or Update Teams if teams are enabled).
- You’ll see a list of all participants currently in the tournament.
To Add:
- Scroll to the bottom and enter a new participant name.
- Click Add or press Enter.
To Remove:
- Click the trash icon next to a participant to delete them.
Edit Participant or Team Names
- Click Update Participants.
- Simply type into the name field to rename any entry.
- Changes are saved automatically.
Use Bulk Edit for Fast Changes
For larger tournaments, use the Bulk Edit feature:
- Click Bulk Edit.
- Paste or type a list of names (one per line).
- Click Apply to update the list.
This will replace all current participant names with the new ones you provide.
Group Assignment (Round-Robin Group Stage Only)
If your format includes group stages:
- Manually assign participants to groups using the dropdown next to their name.
- Or use the Shuffle Groups option to auto-balance the distribution.
